“I help parents discover and nurture their child’s true potential .
— MASTER PAUL, FOUNDER UNITED TAEKWONDO

Hi, I’m Master Paul

Thank you for making the time to visit my website. It is good to know that other people have a similar outlook when it comes to discovering and nurturing your child’s true potential. With over one million recorded bullying incidents every week in our school system, we need to give our children the tools to deal with the daily conflicts of school.

If I could sum up what I do in one sentence – I inspire people to help others. I hold nothing back and share over 40 years of knowledge and experience building people not fighters™. My dream is to help parents and children understand that receiving medals, certificate and ribbons pales in comparison to sharing your knowledge and experience and helping someone else achieve more than they could ever imagine.

As a Master Instructor, entrepreneur and author, I am surrounded with incredible people who support my passion for making a difference to the way children interact. I am currently over-seeing 35 locations with 1,500 members that understand when they come to training, they are here to inspire the person to their left and to the right. My members include people from all walks of life and whether you are 4 or 74 years of age, my door has always been open to people that understand – that we are here to help and support one another.

At the same time, I have built a strong reputation as a community coach, teaching over 300 martial arts programs in schools throughout Australia. By sharing my philosophies, I built a team of like minded instructors the importance of sharing our messages of hope. With all the senseless violence we are encountering, we believe the world would be a better place with more respectful and resilient children, that want to give back to society in a meaningful way.

If you’re looking for any of the following, I can certainly help:

Are you looking for Sporting Schools Community Coach to run a Taekwondo Kickstarters Program in your school?

Would you like me to talk to your school students and share my philosophies through stories where by helping, supporting and including other fellow students,’ lives have been changed.

Are you ready for your teachers to be trained (online or face-to-face), taught how to teach the taekwondo techniques to students, provided with all the equipment required, were given structured lesson plans and had the backing of a Master Instructor.

Do you need a Club Connect Coach to enhance the Sporting Schools Program and introduce taekwondo and its philosophies to encourage children to participate in after school activities?

Do you need a school equipment pack for taekwondo training – 16 paddles + 40 cones so that either teachers or outside providers can run a successful Taekwondo Kickstarters program

30 days of daily wisdom and advice from Master Paul

Over the years, our education system has come a long way since I first started running programs in schools. Many helpful strategies and programs have been implemented, yet our children continue to struggle at school. I have asked the same question for years: ‘Why do children treat each other the way they do?’ Simple answer: it’s in their programming.

As a parent, I have always looked for activities where my children can achieve at levels way beyond their imagination. There is no greater feeling then seeing your child’s team win, your child receiving the best player award or being selected to represent at a regional, state or national level. We have become such a competitive nation that we forget that it is better to have a champion team than a team of champions. I feel children these days have lost the ability to have empathy, patience and understanding.

Children need to be educated about the rewards of helping people, rather than thinking the goal of life is to always win. We are so close to getting it right, we only need a slight realignment and in the end our children will become a person who gives back to society in a meaningful way. What a wonderful world that would be.

Over the years I have developed a way of teaching that reprograms children to want to help, support and include each other and celebrate together instead of feeling that they are missing out. I guarantee you that if you follow my suggestions your children will be left with such a great feeling that any medal, award or certificate will pale in comparison.

Please find below some suggestions that will offer your child a more peaceful life.

Here are some suggestions:

You could start something new with your child and feel great when they say, ‘That’s not how you do it, watch me.’ For example, take up a new hobby, start a veggie garden or even learn martial arts together. When we mention this to parents, we get ‘the look’ followed by ‘I couldn’t do that’, ‘That’s too hard for me’ or ‘I am just too old’. All we do is smile and explain that the majority of people feel this way, but more parents are joining martial arts with their children every day. (www.MasterPaul.com.au)

You could purchase a copy of my book – Building People Not Fighters and use the ideas in the book to building unstoppable confidence in your child. We all understand that inner strength and confidence doesn’t only come from martial arts – many children have it already. But what about those who don’t? This book with give you additional tools to help your child take the next step forward towards a brighter future.

You could have me come to your school as a speaker, train the school staff in taekwondo and teach them how to run a successful program, or ask me to run a session in your school that will help students understand the value in helping, supporting and including their classmates.

I understand as parents our world has become more complicated than ever, and all we want is the absolute best for our children. With over 1 million recorded bullying incidents each week in Australian schools, more children are spending more time avoiding confrontation and less time learning. How can they live their lives to the fullest if they are looking over their shoulders all the time? I hope these suggestions will give you the tools to help you discover and nurture your child’s true potential.

There is greatness inside all of us, and just visiting my website says so much about you as a parent.

I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart. I will never stop looking for a way to help our children understand that true happiness comes from sharing their knowledge and experience and helping someone else achieve more than they could ever imagine.

I truly appreciate your help. Thank you again.’
